After receiving a BS in administrative management from Clemson University in 1977, he went into business with his father. Pastor Fant was called to preach in 1989 and earned a master of divinity from Bob Jones University. He received his doctor of ministry degree from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MN. He and his wife Gretchen have both completed four years of counseling training through Faith Baptist Church in Lafayette, IN. They have five children and have served at Harvest Baptist since 1996. In addition, Pastor Fant serves on the boards of Cross Impact Campus Ministries, Tender Hearts Ministries of York, and The Wilds Christian Association, Inc. Rev. Marshall Fant IV Associate Pastor Marshall Fant was born in Anderson, SC, but moved to Rock Hill with his family in 1996 when his father became the pastor of Harvest Baptist Church. Marshall was called to preach following his freshman year at Clemson University and finished his college degree at Bob Jones University with a bachelor of arts in Bible, graduating in 2007. He completed his master of arts in Bible at Bob Jones in 2009. Marshall married Jenna Nelson in December of 2007. Jenna received both her bachelor of arts and master of arts in English at Bob Jones. Both Marshall and Jenna worked several summers at The Wilds and were lead counselors there. Marshall is currently pursuing a master of divinity degree. |
